Hi people, been browsing these forums for about a year now but never felt the need to write a post.

Just thought i'd share my story with you.

I've been using Regaine for about 3 years now. Not massively great results but i feel my hair would be much worse if i didn't start so i feel i've maintained with just regaine a little bit.

About 2 years ago, i added Revivogen but didn't really like using it so stopped after about 6 months. My hair didn't get worse but i didn't get better during that time.

And from the 24th of this month, ill have been on propecia for 10 months, which i feel has made a massive improvement to my hair. Definite thickness and regrowth on the crown, smaller dark hairs are beginning to sprout through in the frontal areas, they're not really noticeable yet but i i've only been on it 10 months so feel this will only get better.

2 months ago i also started on Nizoral and although i can really see any noticable difference i can only assume it doing its magic so will continue on that.

So overall, i've maintained my hair at the front, and had regrowth and thickness added on the crown.

My question is that, due to my noticing a big difference only when starting propecia, do you think it's necessary to continue on Regaine?

Just thought i'd share my story with you and thank for reading! :)

Yes. While you might have noticed a large difference in the first couple years of use, I think the Regaine became critical once you started on Propecia. The Propecia blocks the hairloss cause and rogaine stimulates growth--combined, I think, is why you've seen such positive results.

Yep, I am wondering the same thing. Not 100% sure if things stabilized or improved with Minoxidil.... with Propecia and Nizoral which I added lateron there was regrowth.
Now not sure if I am able to drop Rogaine.

I don't like Rogaine since it causes a dry skin & dark circles under the eyes to me. Dark circles under the eyes are proven to developed because of lack of moisture. And a dry skin is a normal side effect of Rogaine. I noticed the difference after I started using a standard nivea for men cream for my face (every morning and evening). The dry skin als circles disappeared. But I don't like the side effect although it is now for me easy problem to tackle thanks to the cream.

Thank you for you replies.

I have decided to still use Regaine but only once 1 day, at night, before bed, and use Propecia and nizoral as usual.

Should that be ok do you think?
