I had unexplained diffuse hair loss w no medical explanation. Doctor Gave me spironolactone, Propecia, Minoxidil 5% for 2 yrs w success, In late summer 2017, I began b12 injections and hair growth improved even more; so, I thought b12 deficiency was the underlying problem. Wrong!.Dingbat me stopped taking usual meds for 8-10 weeks, and started shedding! Omg! T Christmas time2017, I noticed shed and immediately resumed my meds. After 2 months, Shed has slowed but not stopped. Question: did stopping my regimen for 8-10’wks initiate the shed? ( only other change was adding CBD oil in early December)

Unfortunately you will lose all your gains quiet quickly when you stop taking Minoxidil & Finasteride. It may take months to get back to were you started.
