Haha, very nice. I used to be low level scum on the looks scale, and every once in a while I'll run into a girl who wants it, now....n I always turn away, or, I hit n run. I'm smiling now as I type.

@Roberto_72 is spot on and I feel way more content with myself in the last few years upon coming to this realisation. It's important to remember the finality of the end of any personal relationship, lover, friend, colleague, once it's done for whatever reason, that person's thoughts will not effect you and as far as you're concerned is no longer part of your universe, never to return.

In trying to reach out to influence their thoughts in some way, the pointlessness of what you're doing and your priorities in life, will eat at you.

There's a pretty clear line between bitter pointless revenge and standing up for yourself in a moment. The great thing in attempting to move on from such things is that inevitably you genuinely stop caring about the thoughts of those who really should be irrelevant in your life. Too many people expend their emotional energy on such matters.
