Nope. Minoxidil doesn't really work well with hairlines since the hair that grows back are too fine and sparse.

That's the commonly accepted thought. I am seeing full restoration but I use oral min and estrogen patches plus Estrogel and retin-A when I microneedle my entire scalp. You will likely see a ton of skin shedding but it's not dandruff, just retin-A effects . I think hair lines differ in anagen greatly from the rest of scalp hair and that makes it very difficult to revive but follicles never die unless they scar, they are merely sleeping or only sleeping in the words of JL

That sounds like a sustainable protocol. The issue is maintenance after stopping microneedling for a few weeks. Someone else who went off estradiol said it was a disaster but I know one guy whose hair looked pretty good on only dutasteride. I think that dutasteride might maintain anagen levels but probably not at the juvenile level. I don't know if finasteride/duta are associate with increased anagen or not; my feeling is that they probably keep it where it is but don't increase it much. This might account for better initial effects among the balding youth of the world.
