Hey guy's, I've been researching resveratrol a little lately. This is kind of a long shot, but lately I've been washing my hair with an Italian Red Grape shampoo and conditioner by Dessert Essence Organics. It's got resveratrol pretty high on the ingredients list and I was just wondering if anyone else would be interested in giving it a shot with me. I've been using it for roughly a little over a month. I liked the way my hair looked better with my old shampoos, and I may be even seeing some thinng in the peak of my hairline (could just be a cosmetic difference). Hoping it's a shed, but have no idea what to expect, if anything, since I've never heard of this approach before. I have read that resveratrol has poor bioavailability when taken in capsules, but works better when dissolved buccally (in the mouth). This made me start wondering how it would work topically, so I'm giving it a try. I did read a study saying resveratrol reduced hair growth in body hair. Anyone have any input?

I've read some anecdotal reports about resveratrol creams improving skin quality, but I think the jury is still out on this one. Interesting experiment, though.

I'm starting resveratrol today - orally.
