Rhinestone Epididymitis finasteride Update.

Hey guys,

I finally weened off Propecia 7 days ago. The epididymitis which has been non stop for 5 months and unresponsive to doxycycline and cipro has vanished since dropping finasteride. It disappeared around day 6 off the drug.

Morning erections are back already, a bit sooner than I expected. Sex drive is steadily increasing and my flaccid state has more blood.

Considering finasteride did significant damage in the 10 months I was on it I really hope I don't develop PFS.

I'll update my recovery here in one week when my DHT should be near baseline.

Not actual size loss no.

It seemed to cause shrinkage of my flaccid state while on it. That reversed after 7 days off it.

11 days off update.

Sexual function hasn't improved much since the initial small boost I got around 5 days off. Went soft with condors everytime, can only stay up bare. Libido still low. Pain from epididymitis is still gone though with no pain at all since quitting.

So I'm 11 days off and I haven't noticed any surge of DHT and returning libido like I did the last 2 times I quit. I have taken it much longer this time though.

Hopefully by day 14 my sexual function will improve.

You'll be fine man, take some l arginine in the mean time. Give it at least a month to assess your recovery, 8 months of treatment may take some time for you hormones to find its balance again.

L arginine: 1500mg morning and 1500mg night

Also if you already don't, work out a bit to get your testosterone pumping again. Good luck brotha

Day 15 update: Morning erections are becoming more frequent, they didn't exist on finasteride.

Libido still low and erection quality is about 50%. Just started L-Arginine today.

Will update at 21 days.

3rd week off finasteride. The tesitcle pain is still gone and my penis stays hard the entire duration of sex now. Hopefully improvements continue.

I feel so much better off finasteride that's it's unbelievable.
I wonder how many guys just deal with or ignore the side effects to keep hair. There is no way a drug that lowers a major hormone by 65-70% has a 2% side effect rate.

Side note. Been on 5% RU 1ml daily for a week. Only side effect seems to be slightly dry eyes.

Update, side effects from finasteride are mostly gone, libido has never recovered fully from before this 10 month finasteride therapy, but it may just take more time, erection quality is back to normal.

RU update:

I've kept all finasteride gains since quitting finasteride and going on RU, shedding is nonexistent on the RU and still no sides. Very, very happy with RU right now. Hair is as good as ever.

can you actually attribute that to RU, or do you think its due to your hormones not at pre-finasteride levels?
