Im in a bit of a dilemma but will keep it quick.
Started noticing my corners receding a few months ago at age 19, after a quick google search I also noticed miniaturization. Derm classed me Norwood 2 and subscribed finasteride 1mg daily. Within a fortnight I was feeling an increase in testosterone and started to get out of the rut I was in since noticing my weakening hairline. About a week later I completely lost any pleasure in my dick. Yep. I immediately stopped taking finasteride but have now grown increasingly depressed due to the inevitable. I tried to hype myself out of it and convince myself its not the end of the world etc but no luck.
I think pleasure is slowly coming back and have been told that any effects of finasteride will disappear after halting use but have also read nightmare stories of men never fully recovering. My question is, would it be too risky to ride out the sexual affects for atleast a few years, to stay relitively happy and confident in my golden years or until i can afford a hair transplant. Im not too sexually active at the moment and cant see myself being any more so later on, so Id honestly prefer hair and self confidence over balding and pleasure. I do focus alot on my appearance, diet and clothing so its sort of catch 22. Ive considered increasing or decreasing any physical activity and diet and wait a few months before restarting finasteride to see if results are any different.
ps. Im guessing theres no dick numbing transition period every finasteride user forgot to write about online
ps. Ive been told rogaine is near useless for hairlines but am willing to try if anyone recommends
Any opinions, suggestions, stories, posts or scams would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
