Saw this post in follicle thought email updates and thought I'd share it

http://www.folliclethought.com/discovering-a-game-changer-rivertown-therapeutics-inc/

Now the results aren't mind blowing but there are mitigating circumstances of age, advanced baldness. Follicle Thought I think lost some credibility with it's vocal backing of baby penis snake oil but interested to see what people think of river town therapeutics and the fact they have actually released photos

Looks somewhat encouraging actually. The patient's slick bald area seems to have shrunk by about one third. Along the back of his head where is previously went from terminal to total baldness now clearly has a new buffer of hair. Hard to tell though with different photo conditions.

As an old fella I am quiet impressed. I would like to see the results after a year to see if that crown loss can be reversed further. I have noticed that the older I get the longer it takes for treatments to work, it takes me 12 months to get results most younger people get in 3 months!

Looks interesting but seeing pictures with such dramatically different lighting to showcase thinning areas makes me want to blow a f*****g gasket.

How do you retards not understand that thinned areas can be very shiny, and the hairs fine and wispy, so that lighting direction and intensity alone (not to mention light color and camera settings) can change the contrast between the scalp and the hair, thereby changing visual emphasis on one or the other?

It's not that f*****g hard to spend some time making a hardware fixture for your camera, and for a fixed light source, and perhaps even for the patient's head.

Some people indeed do just that and their pictures are much, much more revealing - how is this not the standard in the community? Spend a few $$ you cheap bastards and rig something together for consistency.

Annoying.

Thank you for reaching out and your interest in RT1640. We are still hopeful for a 2020-2021 release date. We continue to believe that RT1640 is the answer for Androgenetic Alopecia. Thanks again for checking in.”

You think 2020 is still up-to-date or will they release it sooner than that?

Kind regards. AJ

I read that they're applying for a phase 2 trial in Australia. Australia is really keen to be seen As a go to place for bio-technology and are even offering rebates for R&D to smaller firms. This post was dated September so I don't know what progress has been made since on this front

Seems at Least 2020 release but the more things in the pipeline the better

Don't know if it has to be done like in the USA. So applying for phase 2 means an additional phase 3, but yeah the more the better..

Nothing special. IMHO I expect more regrowth from Shiseido. You can definitely notice the difference in lightning between before and after photo.

Try zooming in with your browser to 400%, you'll see a noticeable difference. The pic on the right shows about 25-30% more hair. It's grey hair, but hair none the less.

If you have to zoom in 400% it's probably just searching for false hope. A good before/after set of pictures doesn't need to play around with lighting/angles/zooming etc to show results.

But tbf on them it's a 60 year old person and commom consensus is that hair loss treatments work best on younger people.

I'd take those results at that age for sure. However, their statement they believe RT1640 is the answer to Androgenic Alopecia is delusional. Some guys in their late twenties are at that 60 year olds state of loss and your going to tell these young men, there's your answer? Yes, younger cells may have a greater response but where is the clinical proof of that? Yet they make such a blanket statement.

Mate, even if a guy in his 20's has the same nwd as a 60 year old, still there's a huge difference. Don't focus just on the nwd level, focus also on how long have these hairs fall off.

Dude I thought the same thing. At this age, even super aggressive anti androgens do absolutely sh*t. The only thing that I don't understand, it's the grey scalp in the center of the crown on the second photo.

I don't see gray scalp but it does appear darker even accounting for the increased darkness of that photo in general. Maybe the drug causes some hyperpigmentation of the skin, a possible side effect. (?)

finally some sanity here.

there are only 2 explanations for not providing a full set of quality pics/video of your results:
1. you are just another shitty scammer
2. you managed to create a groundbreaking product but somehow still lack the intellect and scientific rigour to provide a solid proof that it works

you do the math for yourselves. the amount of desperation and dissonance here is truly astonishing.

and half of those "business" enterprises should be flushed, maybe more time and money would be spent on actual product development then.

Unless you've got a higher res retina display, I don't think it's gonna matter? If they put very high res pics on their site, they will experience "server drag", and then the web performs like it's the 1990s again.
