I’m confused. So Rob Lowe injected finasteride into his veins for 30 years, or does he not know what mainlined means?

Managed to maintain an NW1! That’s not bad at all for someone who noticed hairloss at 25. He must have jumped on the bandwagon way before finasteride had even gained licence approval for the treatment of hairloss.

Ignoring his flippant comments about Prince William, Rob Lowe must be the best advert for Finasteride ever. Not only does he credit finasteride for keeping his famous head of hair it seems he's been taking the "pill" for 30 years proving that Finasteride can be effective in the long term too.

Is Rob Lowe lying though? I find it ridiculous that particular members of the royal family don't put much effort into vanity, when they should be setting high standards. In the past, vanity within the royal family was significant and inspiring to those living in those years. Nowadays, it's not like that and it's almost as if they don't care. Unless there is something deeper behind it? Sometimes I believe that there are pedophile rings behind the scene within the royal family and they don't want to risk potential sexual side effects because of that... It's purely speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

(Rob Lowe is so handsome!)

He could of had some work done but is just not admitting it. I think a celebrity would rather admit to finasteride than a transplant.

Taking Finasteride would be a weird thing for Rob Lowe to lie about unless he's got a strange sense of humour!

As for the Prince there are several reasons why he wouldn't do something about his hair.
1) The British press are vicious. If someone in Williams position suddenly had a hair transplant you can guarantee he would be ridiculed. William is one of the most respected members of the Royal family and he wouldn't want to lose that.
2) As a Brit I can tell you that Rob Lowe is quite astute when he says British men aren't very vain. Vanity is seen as a negative trait here as is taking yourself too seriously. We have a self deprecating humour especially when it comes to things such as looks.
3) I honestly get the impression William doesn't care too much. Besides he's got everything he could possibly want - a great family (not to mention a hot wife), money and probably everyone telling him how handsome he is.

If I were in his shoes I wouldn't give a damn about balding either, but I always wonder if he tried finasteride and it failed to help him.
