It's not ridiculous. They have to recoup their monies spent on advertising and trials. You shouldn't complain about prices, ESPECIALLY not if you're taking a drug that isn't even fda approved for the purpose you want it for.
Plenty of people have had success on generic dutasteride. Plenty of people on here included.
I understand all of that - the "robbed" thing was more of a joke. What I meant was ridiculous is for a broke-*** student to be spending so much on hair loss treatment!
It seems that the majority on here say that the generic is fine and dandy, but then they aren't actually using it! Should I be reading between the lines or something?
no. i get my avodart covered by insurance for the same price as generic dutasteride so there's no reason for me to. but i WAS using generic dutasteride before i found out they would. collegechemistrystudent is using dutas, so are other people. i just sent him some avodart to compare to dutas to analyze its legitimacy.
I'll stock up as soon as I see the tri-fuoromethyl bonds. Until then I can just say it has about the same UV absorption curve and intensity as real avodart, and the curve looks a bit different than that of finasteride, whose generics also looked good.
Avodart cost me 71 bucks US a month from elite net pharmacy (why they block the name of that site out here I don't know) plus shipping. Which is way cheaper than inhouse or united.

The generic stuff is the way forward, especially if ur hard up and no insurance to cover. They work just the same, I ve used generic Dutas and it does the trick. Price wise the big boys are more expensive ie; inhouse and unitedpharmacy. But I get mine from evopharmacy.com and they have necer let me down. Heard good things about elitepharmacy as well.
We should take advantage of doing the big Pharm companies out of money, thay rip us off with all the other patented protected products. I’ll not go into their ethics, Constant Gardner?

beers at bars are expensive. you can get a six pack of heiny in a store for 10 bucks, but at a bar, each bottle will cost you $3 at some places, not including a tip, 50 cents. Most college students can easily spend $40-50 per weekend on booze. and mixed drinks are usually at least $5 at bars, with some ranging up to $7 or $8. I don't really drink that much anymore(maybe twice a year), and my wallet is much heavier as a result.
