Rogain 5% liquid = scalp irritation

Hi guys
I was using 1.25mg proscar & in January I decided to incl rogaine 5% liquid.After 4 days of use my scalp started to burn & I had red blotches on my scalp so I stopped the product. Around 2-3 months later I had a MASSIVE SHED ! Is it true that the shed can be a result of an inflammatory reaction brought on by the problems I had with rogain ? Apparently the hair will grow back after 3-6 months
Anyone else suffer the same thing?

Yeah, the liquid caused a bit of irritation for me.

You should get the foam instead.
