Rogain causing dark circles under the eyes?

Please answer poll. I have noticed these circles on me for sometime. Initially I thought I just wasn't getting enough rest but now I am not so sure.

Just like you I'm in the same situation. I'm not sure if it's just coincidence that heredity kicked in while I started Rogaine or if it was the rogaine itself. It seemed that after about two monthes into it I noticed the dark circles...so I stopped immediately and even stopped taking the supplements I was taking for hairloss.

Bad news is that the dark circles haven't gone away since stopping. It's been about 45 days since and I'm not sure if Rogaine screwed me over for good or if it's heredity that just kicked in shortly after starting Rogaine.

Does anyone know if dark circles go away if they were caused by Rogaine after stopping treatment?

nothing new here. I've always had sleeping problems and dark circles.

I just can't believe it is genetics because these circles did not start until I was about 26. Clearly I should get more rest as that would help, frankly I question whether applying minoxidil on my forehead before bed can effect my bodies ability to reach a resting state.
I am laying off the minoxidil for a few weeks and evaluating my sleep patterns. We shall see if the circles go away.
