Rogaine absorption time

Hey all, Im using rogaine foam..and forgive me if this has been asked before...I did a search but found nothing on the topic...

Does anyone know how long the rogaine needs to be on your scalp before you can shampoo?

I was using it after I wash my head, but I am not crazy about the texture of my hair after application. I am using the foam on the front part of my scalp, and that hair is somewhat thin and tends to be frizzy as is. With the foam added it really gets messy.

So I was wondering if I wanted to apply the foam in the morning, how much lead time I need to give it before I wash my hair.

Thank you, the instructions are somewhere in the landfill, so no way I could reference them
