Rogaine and hair transplant

Hi all,

I have been using Rogaine twice daily and propecia for almost more than
5 months. Actually I got a very nice results. All my friends and my family
noticed the change. I am getting a regroth and also a tiny hairs in the hairline. I am thinking to do a hair transplant to increase the result. My question is should I stop using rogaine before and after the surgery and for how long.

I ran across studies somewhile back showing it is best to stay on it right up to the surgery and to go back on it within 48-72 hours after surgery. My doctor told me just the opposite, but I did not listen. As a result only a small percentage of the transplanted hair shed and the grafts began growing within the first month. Shows you how much some doctors know!
