Rogaine and peach fuzz

I'm 5 weeks into rogaine and some of the slick areas (frontal and temples) have what appears to be peach fuzz. The top of my head has baby hairs, I'm very pleased with results on top and crown. I define the baby hairs as darker and thicker than peach fuzz. Does anyone have experience with rogaine growing peach fuzz? Will it fall out and be replaced later by baby hairs? Thats probably wishfull thinking. I'm really amazed at my progress, I had no idea it would be possible for me to grow back any of my hair.
Btw, I'm a Norwood 5A and would be 6 within a few years if I had done nothing. Can anyone enlighten me on the peach fuzz?

I was Norwood 5 5moths ago. I think that minoxidil turned me from 5 to 3vertex (hard to find my self on this scale because I still do have norwood 5 pattern but with more thicker hair than before and after washing my hair with nizoral I am definitely Norwood 3vertex or even better).

I think that to see even only peach fuzz is success once you re norwood 5. We can talk about great success if you see those baby hair on your head after just 5 weeks on minoxidil. And you can expect improvement in the future. Congratulation.

As we both are on the same boat I am looking forward to see next post from you about your situation. Keep us updated!

Could I ask you some q? How old are you and how long have you been Norwood 5. I am 27 and I had been Norwood 5 for 4 years before I started with big 3. Actually do you use other treatmentslike finasteride or spironolactone too?

Thanx for reply!

Ledvoush,
I'm happy to hear you are getting good results so far.
I'm 44, been losing my hair since I was 17. Its been slow loss compared to many others and I had resigned myself to my fate 20 years ago. Back then there really wasn't much that could be done other than hairpiece or awful looking plugs. I have been nw5 for a few years I guess, I don't track it too well to know exactly.

I use ....
Rogaine 5% (morning and evening)
Avacor dht blocking herb pills (twice daily, just because I have them)
nizoral 1% (when i remember to use it, probably once a week on average)
Revivogen shampoo most days
Last week I added ....
Arginine 2g daily
MSM 2g daily
Vit C 1g daily (I usually do this every autumn - winter)
I don't think the supplements have anything to do with my hair growth at this point, they may help in the future. I added the MSM to see if it would help with the aching in my lower back that I get every evening. Results of that are very good too, I have not had to take any pain reliever in several days. I have been suffering from that problem for many years.

btw, anyone know what maidenhair tree is? Thats what avacor pills say is the main ingredient.

I have read (somewhere) that Ginkgo Biloba is a natural DHT inhibitor, does anyone know any more on this, or have I been dreaming again?

after using minoxidil for 2 months I noticed a fine peach fuzz growing all over my head, more unusually a peach left in the fruit bowl over the summer had thick black curly hair all over its back, I was suprised how difficult this made eating it.
