I'm getting a procedure done in a little over two weeks, and i had heard that using minoxidil for 2-3 weeks before a procedure is good to reduce shockloss and post-surgery shedding. My question is that if i start today and take it for about two weeks prior to my procedure, will the period that i have to stop using it (4 days before + 8 days after=12 days total) cause me to loose any hairs permanently? thanks for any input you can give.
