Rogaine - Ear burning

I'm about three weeks into 5% Rogaine foam, and over the last day or two I've started to develop a red, scaly rash behind my ears. My ears feel like they are on fire, and the itching is constant. Has anyone had any experience with Rogaine and ear problems? If it's an allergic reaction, why has it taken almost a month to develop?

I'm wondering if maybe I'm using too much, or if some of the foam is getting on my ears after I apply it and comb.

Make sure it isn't getting on your ears, and also stop scratching and try to see if the irritation goes away.

It might just be an unrelated rash. If it persists, maybe stop using minoxidil for 3 or 4 days and see if it subsides. If it is still just as bad, it's probably a rash you should get treated.

It's tough because like most people, I apply the foam in the morning as I'm getting ready for school/work, and combing the hair after the foam has dried is a part of that routine. It's only natural that some foam would get on the comb and get on the ears or face.

I didn't apply any today, so I'm hoping a 2-3 day break will help.
