Rogaine face swelling?

I have a lip hemangioma which is basically a bluish purple sore on my lip. I had it removed 2 years ago and it was completely gone, it is now returning although it's not as big as before but it is there.

I was wondering if Rogaine could be the cause of this as the doctor told me it's basically a weak nerve on my lip but I read that Rogaine has the ability to cause facial swelling and it a vasodilator so I'm thinking it might be the cause.

I would really have to stop using Rogaine but it's kinda of useless trying to solve one problem to just create a new one. Any advice or insight would be great, thanks.

I can't say anything about your problem, but facial swelling from Rogaine is because of water retention. It's a rare side effect.
