Rogaine Foam and water retention

Hello,
Here is my situation :
It's the second week I am using Rogaine Foam. During the first week i used to much of it (more than a fullcap twice a day) and that gave me cheast pain and headaches. Then I reduced the dosage, I only apply it once a day and half a cap. The chest pain and headaches went away.
But my problem now is that I'm peeing like 10 times a day, and i have a bloated face with rings under my eyes, and i'm also tired.

So I was wondering if that side effects can be because I used so much of the foam during the first week and now my body can't regulate anymore.

So I'm thinking of making a break of 3 or 4 days.

I would be pleased to have your opinion and know if somebody else experienced the same side effects and what did he did against it...
Do you thing that the side effect go away after a while??

if you're peeing more than normal you aren't retaining water. keep drinking lots of water and your body will naturally reduce the amount being retained in your cells. if you want water retention to go away but keep using minoxidil is to excercise regularly, drink lots of water and reduce the amount of minoxidil you use until your body adjusts. keep using it once or twice a day, but reduce the amount you use. OR, you can cut down to once a day. taking 3 or 4 day breaks won't get you anywhere, the sides will just return when you start again. your body needs time to adjust to the minoxidil, if you can do things right (excercise, water, dosage) your water retention should be under control until you adjust.

if your water retention is really bad or just persistant, you might have to discontiue. i had it but have gotten through it, as well some others have on here.

Hi,
how many days did it take until the peeing stopped?
did you have a bloated face during that period too?
did you have something like instestinal flu?
why would exercise help?

I suggest you use it twice a day but try to further reduce the dosage....
