Rogaine foam as effective?

I am now using Rogaine foam after years on dr. Lee's minoxidil. I am quite happy with the use of it...dries quicly, easy to apply, smells nice. However, I am concerned about its effectiveness....It's true it's the same minoxidil compound used in Rogaine solution from the very same company....But has the foam undergone clinical trials as for it's effectivenss??? The alcoholic solution is absorbed due to the alcohol in it....alcohol passes easily through the human skin and takes with it the minxidil dissolved. How does that the foam??? Have they actually checked it's absorption rates vs. the solution version??

I am a bit concerned about it....does anyone have answers for that?

If anything the foam is more effective. The foam has a much higher absorption rate compared to the solution. I believe the technology they're using is versafoam. Type it into a search engine or search the forum, you'll find more info.

after applying rogaine foam twice daily for a month-and-a-half, my temples are starting to fill in. If I look closely I can see so many hairs filling in my windows peak. :)

The foam is definitely more effective than the solution. I was on the solution for years, I switched over to the foam a few months ago and have had some nice hair growth since then, its the best on the market.

Thanks logic, I entered http://www.versafoam.com. It's really interesting. I have been using minoxidil in solutions for many years now, and really hope to improve even more my hair with the foam. I'll keep you up to date.

I'm sure that the foam will eventually phase out the liquid minoxidil. I will never go back. Hopefully a generic version will be available at some point.
