Rogaine Foam: Noticing White Residue in Treatment Areas

Hello,

I've been using Rogaine Foam for almost three months with good results. Crown and temple areas have been filling in nicely(still waiting for my temple hairs to go terminal).

Anyway, over the last few weeks, I've begun to notice this thin white residue developing in my temple areas where I apply the foam. In addition, I've been experiencing dandruff-like flaking. Also the skin in said area feels rough and dry.

Any ideas on what I can do to alleviate this problem?

Hey man,

Minoxidil still uses an alcohol base which is known to dry out skin. The white flakes are probably just skin getting dry. Try using a moisturizer a bit after the Minoxidil has some time to set it. Should help with the flaking, and it's more healthy for your skin anyway.
