On the supply of Rogaine foam I bought it advises not to use on the hairline region, however this is the area that I am losing hair, hence wanting to regrow a little.

Is it ok if I use the foam on my hairline?

I'm also looking to start finpecia or something soon and was wondering whether the pills would maintain any hair gained through rogaine if I stop applying the foam?

Thanks guys,

Robert

it takes the longest and is most difficult to achieve results on the frontal hairline but yes it does work.

I had a pretty positive experience with a combo of propecia and foam. I'm thinning now, and my hairline is just starting to recede around the temples. after taking the meds for a few months the hairline that was completely gone did not come back. However as long as there was hair in the area i grew more. if your like me your existing hairline will fill out and you wont loose anymore but you will not get back what you lost already.

Why does Rogaine advise not to use it on the hair line? Can it do harm?

they didnt get it aproved for the hairline, only for the crown.. thats wy they are not alowed to advice or say that it can regrow frontal hairloss but it works ^^
and no u can not maintain minoxidil/rogain hairs on finasterid.
if u start using minoxidil then its a lifetime comitment... or else it goes...

yeah bare skin with no hair is almost impossible to regrow hair on without surgical help, but I have seen it work.
