rogaine foam on the hairline

How do you guys apply this stuff on your hairline. I been using foam for about a week and i cant really get it right. it always ends up 1 inch below my hairline. do you guys apply it one inch above your hairline so it kind of drips down 1 inch?

i've only applied it twice so far, but this morning i put it in my fingers and tried to go straight onto my hairline...found that a little difficult.

so tonight i put the foam directly onto my parted hair at the front and rubbed it around, worked wonderfully.

use it in the cap .. scoop it with your finger. part your hair with the other hand and use your finger to apply and spread.
