I began foam a few days ago. Before that, I tried DNC for several days. While on DNC, my heart raced minutes after applying the solution so I wanted to give foam a shot.

Now, I don't feel anything when applying the foam!!

SO, my hair on top is about half to inch long. I try to get the foam to my scalp to my best ability, but many times it seems to me that most goes on my hair! Do you guys feel that way too?

SO, am I not feeling rapid heart beats like I did on DNC because I am not getting enough solution on my scalp? Is the liquid rogaine then better for me?

Do you guys feel most of the foam goes to waste as it hits the hair mostly? Im sure it is difficult for people to apply the foam and get it in the scalp within a few seconds before it dries..

ahhh help.. :freaked:

you really don't want your heart to be racing to begin with, so I wouldnt worry about that.

I recommend applying the foam directly to the scalp so you don't have to worry about it not being absorbed, then massage in, then wash your hands.

try parting your hair and applying it to to the area. or put the foam on your fingers and apply it to the hairline and brush it through your hair exactly when you apply it. Just run it through your hair. if you get some on your hair thats ok. Just rub it in as best as you can.

Better sacrifice the hair and cut it Wentworth Miller style :)
I did.
Easier and quicker to apply.

Besides, I realize how serious my hair loss was..Norwood 3.
Better cut it short and only let it free when hairloss problems were gone.

Maybe both carry the same punch, but the liquid is being absorbed more rapidly? Kind of like the difference between taking a shot of whiskey, or sipping it. With the shot, the buzz hits more immediately.... whereas with the sipping, you get just as drunk, but its not as "abrupt" of a feeling?

well why do people say foam works better if liquid is absorbed better!! who the heck cares about cosmetic looks, we need effectiveness!

well my hair is like half inch lentgh.. and its NOT thick. i apply it to my crown area only.. just makes me wonder if foam is weak, or im fine with minoxidil, or is it another ingredient in DNC which caused my heart beats..

foam, it feels like some goes on scalp, and some on hair.. do you guys have that problem too?

No...the foam absorbs quicker according to Dr Ken Washinik. He's one of the guys behind hair cloning and research. He has no monetary interest in Rogaine either. (I checked)

Vtec....why dont you conduct your own research and see how it turns out. Include hair counts and pics in your timetable. It would not only help you but many others.
