Hi,

I'm about to start my Rogaine protocol for the first time.

I just want to confirm that shampooing your hair two times daily (morning and night) - in order to get full penetration of the rogaine - isn't going to dry out your hair and potentially make it fall out at a faster rate? It seems awfully drying to shampoo twice daily. Any experience with this is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Actually twice a day is risky in terms of too much dryness. Once a day should do.

wash 1x a day..

I don't always wash 1x a day i still get good results with minoxidil but do it for a while until you see results at least.

Cool. I will be washing w shampoo at night to wash the Toppik out from the day. I take it it's ok to re-apply rogaine in the AM on top of the rogaine from the night prior? Hair wont be perfectly clean prior to the PM application. Maybe I'll just rinse my hair in the shower in the AM, no shampoo?

Can someone please confirm it's ok to apply Rogaine in the morning (with no shampooing prior) after applying it the night before (after shampoo). Basically, Rogaine on top of Rogaine. I stress this question because time and time again, I've read 'apply Rogaine on clean hair'. Well, it wont exactly be clean if it has residue from the night prior.

Thanks all.

When i started to shampoo also in the morning it seems i have better results.
The scalp should be clean , the dryness is very minimal

Some differences in opinion! Can we get a few more peoples thoughts? Do you only shampoo once or twice? Important to note that the eve shampoo is mandatory prior to rogaine application due to the toppik in hair.
