The moment I put my foam in my hand, it melts into almost nothing! I read in the instructions that this can happen if your hands are warm, and I should put cold water on hands prior to application. I've tried this and it's still melting almost instantly. Can someone please help me out?
Thanks.

I remember that happening to my minoxidil foam back then. What I read was that you can actually just run cold water on the Rogaine can for a little bit, I used to do that and it worked, make sure the water is cold and the can gets cold. But anyway liquid>foam, longer shelf life, better penetration, no worries of melting. Better ingredients. Better pizza. Papa John's.

Pop the can in the fridge for 5min and gently shake it up.
Run your hands in cold water then apply!
Works for me

It's to do with the ambient temperature of the room it's stored in. I traveled a lot recently, and it seems that at around 25 degrees the foam will start turning to liquid in your hands and have a very thin consistency, between 23 and 25 it will have a vaguely thin consistency but not immediately turn to liquid, and then below 23 degrees it has a very thick consistency and doesn't turn to liquid in your hands at all. This is all assuming that you rinse your hands under cold water first - you should always do that, think it's even stated in the instructions but maybe not

Yes, it does melt in higher temperatures. I apply it directly to my scalp anyway, but in not weather it then drips down my forehead so I have to tip my head back when applying

The reason I apply it directly is to avoid it being absorbed by my hair rather than my scalp.
