I'm 43 and have only recently noticed that the crown of my head is getting noticeably thinner (the front has been slightly thinning and receeding for some time).
So thought I'd experiment with some treatment or other to try and at least maintain things without wishing to try anything too 'invasive' such as DHT inhibitors in tablet form. Rogaine Foam seems to be fairly well regarded, but a question - if I use it for, say, 3 months and, for whatever reason, decide to stop, will any hair that has then been shed as a result of using the Rogaine, then grow back again to the state it was in BEFORE I started the Rogaine?
In other words is there a risk that using Rogaine (or minoxidil, etc) will leave my hair in a worse state than it was before I started IF I stopped applying it during or after any shedding phase?
