Does minoxidil increase shaft diameter or otherwise positively influence hair growth in scalp areas not affected by DHT (i.e., non-thinning areas)? For example, if I were to apply it to the side of my scalp, would those hairs increase in shaft diameter? Moreover, could I possibly see new hairs sprout (new hair, as in, no hair was EVER there in my lifetime prior to minoxidil)?
