Rogaine Side Effects can be as strong as Propecia / finasteride

Well i have searched the forums and it seems im the only one that have had a major reacton to Rogaine, so i might as well tell you. I was on Rogaine 2% for about 3 Months the Next 3 months was 5% after about 7 month mark it caused erectyle dysfunction, i thought(stupidly) well because it was Rogaine i could stop and everything would be back to Normal as it didnt mess with hormones. So i continued to use Rogaine for another year putting up with the ED. Then i decided i would stop as i wanted everything to return to normal, waited a month another month its now been about 11 months and only now has my ED problem started to go away slowly, it still isnt as strong or as easy to get as before i started, im hoping more time well let it return to normal.

I went to two different doctors they didnt seem to have much idea at all, they got my to have hormone tests and everything was normal. I dont know why they say if you have sides see your GP, as neither had much clue about Rogaine or its sides.

Well thats my story hope anyone else who had these problems can see that they arent the only one as i feel as if i am.

Rogaine sides are not the same as finasteride,it is stupid you mentioned it.If you really had ED it was for something else,I mean, how could a medicine like rogaine cause you to lose your libido like propecia?

I believe you may be the first poster (that I've noticed) to say Rogaine gave them ED. I've never heard of this as a side effect.

Your paranoid.Rogaine doesnt cause the same sides as finasteride.There completley different drugs.

Regaine is a Lowering blood pressure Drug

and Blood Pressure Drugs can make this side effects

This side effekt have many People from Oral blood Pressure Drugs

Regaine goes from many People to mutsch in the blood
i am not sure but i have the same problem

i take 12Years finasteride and had never sexual side effects
one year with minoxidil and my Penis is Limply

i had big side effekts from minoxidil!!
it goes tu mutsch in my blood

Im only 23, so i aint old and if you look at sites on the net you will see that its shown as a severe / rare side effects.

Seems to happen in very rare cases, from what i see people with abnormal scalp hair absorb to much.

Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients.

Dont rule out that its totaly unrelated to minoxidil. There´s allways a chance that it is related, but would be stupid to rule out the possibity its not.

Well all blood tests came back normal when i did the tests, and the doctor could only think of Minixodil as the cause. And with time going by after stopping Minixodil everythings returning to normal.
