Rogaine Side Effects

Just wondering if anyone had any similar experience or solution to this. I've just started using Spectral.DNC(5% minoxidil) for the past 6 days and since starting have been having moderate headaches all day. Apparently this is one of the side effects to using minoxidil. I've been applying 0.75 ml to the front and temples only. My questions are: Will the side effects subside over time, and if they do, how long before they will subside? Also, if they don't subside and I have to drop it, would the next best topical to try be spironolactone?
Thanks.

I never had any sides with the Rogaine liquid, but when I switched to the foam I had some sides initially, headache, slight dizziness and facial swelling, but it all went away after a while. I have been on it for 2 months now and all is well. Chances are they will subside in time, maybe you should try using only .5ml and see what happens then over time up it to what you are currently using, this may give your body some time to acclimate to the drug. Good luck.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking about doing as well, lowering it to 0.5ml and seeing if it goes away. Hopefully it subsides. Although it's not too, too bad, the headaches are pretty annoying and makes it hard to concentrate. Thanks for the reply and advice bro. Btw, how long did it take for your headaches to subside?

Only started the DNC 6 days ago. Doesn't look like any kind of shed is happening so far. It does look like I'm getting a few hairs coming in here and there though and some of the peachfuzz(velus) hairs are looking like they're darkening up. Whether this is soley from the DNC or the whole regimin I'm doing, I can't really say. Time will tell. The whole hair loss thing for me is more of an experiment into the whole regrowing/maintaining hair thing for me anyway. I've shaved my head and look/feal great that way, but I also look great with hair. I've a curious mind and thought why not try this experiment. I got nothing to lose, cause if it doesn't work as well as I hope, no big deal, I'll just go back to shaving it. That being said, I am willing to stay with the experiment for a few years to determine results. Anyway, so far the little that I've seen is encouraging, but I do not expect to see much in the way of real results for another month or two at the earliest. I am documenting my progress and will be sure to post after a period of time my experience.
