* 29 yr old web design consultant by day; salsa instructor by night
* very active (dance, football, softball, gym, pilates)
* not a diet freak but I do tend to watch what I eat

I noticed my hair thinning out about 4 years ago. I started on Rogaine (liquid)/Propecia/T-Gel to combat it about a year and a half but didn't stick with it. The Rogaine made my scalp way too itchy and honestly, I was embarrassed to keep renewing my propecial prescriptions. Anyway, my insecurities are behind me. I'm actually talking openly about the fact that I'm taking steps not to lose my hair to my guy friends and select lady friends.

I'm back on Rogaine (foam this time) and Propecia...just started this week. My plan now is to stick with it a year and see how it goes. I will do my best to post pictures weekly.

My first set of pics can be found here:

Good luck to all. Keep fighting the good fight.

I think you have great hair for your age and I def think that propecia and rogaine will keep your hair intact for quite sometime if not grow you moreback. I used to have problems witht he itching and flaking rogaine causes so I got on Nizoral 3 times a week (5-7 minutes left on my scalp each application) and I have not had any itch, red scalp or dandruff in over a year. Good luck to you and hang in there :woot:

thx for the kind words and advice. so far the foam hasn't been itchy at all. i'll definitely look to add nizoral to the routine.

quick questions:

* in what state should i photograph my hair so that I can better track progress (or lack thereof)?
* where can I find nizoral 2%? I can only find 1% at the pharmacy.
