Ru58841 From Receptor Chem (uk) - Experiences?

Hi all,

Has anyone bought RU from this company? I usually buy mine from Anagen Inc, but have run out and need to obtain more quickly (I am based in the UK).

I am curious as to whether or not they are legit, and what solution they use (their RU is pre-mixed). I have been mixing RU in 96.4% ethanol/PG for many years and wonder if this is still viewed as the most effective approach?

Seems legit honestly but regardless of what source you choose I suggest always do home tests (solubility, melting point) to make sure the batch you get is legit.

If you're really committed to taking research chemicals it might be worth it to purchase a spectrophotometer off of Ebay. That way you can test the absorbance spectra. Between the absorbance spectra, melting point, and solubility tests, you should be able confirm RU with 99% certainty.

Don't buy premixed because you can't really test it that way.

I'm interested to know about this too- my order from Anagenic seems to have been lost in the Coronavirus mess and I'll soon be out of it. Have they said when they can get it to you?

Re. the above - RU has indeed worked well for me over the years.

I received my 5g of RU powder from Receptor Chem within a few days of making the bank transfer (paid for recorded delivery) and have the following observations about the substance I received:
- It is sticking to the plastic bag that it was sent in (this has never happened with Anagen RU).
- It leaves a cloudy solution once dissolved in ethanol/PG (usually clear with Anagen RU).
- It does not smell like Anagen RU.

My Anagen RU has also reached me from the US and I will probably be using this instead...
