I've been on finasteride and close to 3 years and my current prescription has expired and only have a few pills left and my Dr is on vacation for 3 weeks. I've historically taken 1 mg daily. I was going to cut the pills in half or quarters until I can find a script. Anyone know about Keeps or Hims? Are they worth a try. How long can I go without finasteride in my system before I'm negatively impacted?

Usually you can just ask your pharmacy to request a refill which they do electronically these days. Someone at your practice should be qualified to write prescriptions other than your doctor. So get up off your computer or phone and make a phone call to your pharmacy or practice for your hairs sake!
Also for what’s its worth I’ve on multiple occasions “run out of pills” because of an expiring prescription. Whatever you have just ration it. Maybe take a pill once ever 2 or every 3 days until you get a new supply.
