Hey guys, nice forum. I´ve been on a dutch hair forum a lot the last 2,5 yrs.

Ive been on fina since oct 07 and my hair got stable after 3 months shedding.

Then I started minoxidil in november 08. Now my hair has just improved drastically, its amazing and I hope/think its still not done improving (its possible since ive only been using minoxidil for 4 months). The male pattern baldness isnt noticable anymore (almost).

I want to stop with finasteride and compensate it with something.

Maybe with xandrox 15 plus, and then take saw palmetto along with it, cuz im really scared I will lose my regained/attained hair!

I wanna stop taking finasteride orraly cuz the sides and because ive been taking it since age 19 (now almost 21) and I feel/think that it has stopped/slowed my growth.

Do you think it will be a great risk to do this?

Maybe the stronger minoxidil will fill in the possible gap of less fina in my body? And with some saw palmetto as extra backup?

Please if anybody has any ideas, let me know, im finally feeling good about my hair, and now I wanna perfect my regime without feeling bad about something all the time in the back of my head. Im trying to find some sort of peace

I thank you for your time in advance.

Grtz from Amsterdam,

Ryan

Oh and im at NW2, dissuse thinning. male pattern baldness barely noticable. Will ad fotos

you can always ask this on our hairforum...

het is maar een idee he :punk:

ok , i dont think stronger minoxidil can fill in the gap of your fina....

quiting fina will set your improved hair back to the beginning....

maybe starting with ASC-J9 ?

if you're not experiencing any bad sides i'd continue on the finasteride.

soon as you stop taking it the DHT will start destroying your hair again.

glad you've had such good results so far, but it is all due to the finasteride.

Thanks guys (and Wesley, familliar face from another forum), but theres finasteride in the topical, so that finasteride and the extra strong minoxidil, couldnt that fill the gap (I mailed with dr lee and I think he said that the finasteride in the topical is almost, if not evenly effective as oral finasteride), if theres a 'gap' at all (cuz theres finasteride in the topical)?

you will know this when you quit fina and replace it with xandrox 15 plus...

when the human trail 2 data from asc-j9 for acne is released...
i will order and make this asc-j9 topical

the meaning of this topical = breaking down the androgen receptors at your hairfollikels....
so you dont need to take any duta or fina anymore...

but still now its waithing for the data of the human trail 2 for acne...
for me it would be to know the effective dose and if its safe....

And yeah, im afraid to only way to find out is to stop using finas and kirkland and start using xandrox 15 plus.

Im scared as hell, dunno yet If im gonna do it, but I think I will...

Yeah im gonna stay on finasteride.

I just got sh*t into my head about growth and all.

finasteride is approved for people from 18 yrs old so I shouldnt wine.

I added spectral btw so maybe that will cause some more approvement.

dont you think spectral is a little too much

correct me if I'm wrong i believe it is 15% minoxidil right?

i think you might want to start at 5% minoxidil for now

maybe no minoxidil at all
if your content with the way you hair looks now

but that is just my opinion

dont get me wrong
the big 3 does wonders in its synergistic effects in harmony

cheers mate

Lol.

But no, see my regimen button!

It pretty much says it all.

finasteride just maintained and when I started minoxidil back in november, my hair got much thicker.

Now I want even more results, so Ive added spectral.
Kirkland in the morning, spectral in the evening.

Btw the pictures are crap though, I know.
Gonna make some decent pictures soon.
