Retrogade alopecia maybe.??
Auto-immune? Thyroid? Unpatterned male pattern baldness?
Can’t tell, I’d get your thyroid and blood checked then diagnose it urself or with specialist from there. If it isn’t a health issue, then it’s probably retrogade unless u have unpatterned symptoms.

check blood levels of vitamin d, ferritin, iron, Hb, b12, thyroid function
check your body hair, eyebrows, arms , genital area, hair loss in these areas means malnutrition
I see miniaturization, that means most likely retrograde alopecia.
nape is ok? fina/duta works for retrograde in most cases

Loss of body hair is not androgenetic alopecia.
Most likely some kind of malnutrition.
I've seen very noticeable hair regrowth in my eyelashes, eyebrows, arms, legs, genital area after taking vitamin D, iron and b12, despite having normal weight.
So that could be your case. Check thyroid function.
I assume you're not on blood pressure drugs or something like that. Those drugs cause hair loss.

body hair loss is completely abnormal, it's a symptom of something else
you could eat a lot and having normal weight and still have malnutrition, it depends on your intestine absorption capabilities which are genetically determined and also decline with age.
in several cases supplementation for life is the only solution.

you could try dutasteride and see what happens. if it improves a little, that's retrograde alopecia.

good luck kid

Good advice. I will add that finasteride and dutasteride absolutely killed my body hair. Or something changed in my body around the time I started taking finasteride and got worse when I started taking dutasteride.

Is it only in this area?

it could be fungal, it could be cicatricial alopecia the way the hair looks it looks like either alopecia areata or fibrosing alopecia, but fibrosing alopecia has patterns in eyelashes and in middlefront hairline, u should check if the follicles are "dead" or if they are still active. If its alopecia areata it will show exclamation hairs and evidence of the follicle in the area, if its fibrotic, the area will be totally bald with signs of scarring.

U cant by yourself. U need a trusted doctor to check the area with a dermoscopic tool to check signs of scarring and absence of follicular ostia and inflammation. U should seek for a doctor immediatly if u care about your hair, if its Cicatricial it can progress and cause further permanent hair loss and the area affected is usually no candidate for further hair transplant. Wish you best of luck.
