Hi all

In my mids 30s and my hair is Norwood type 2. Its not bad but, its starting to get really bad on the crown area and a bit on the front of my scalp.

One important thing to note before I mention my regime is to confirm my health status. I did get a full blood count and it all came back fine. I also have IBS for a few years and only just a few months did my doctors recommend me do go for an endoscopy for my stomach which again, came back fine but the doctors still mention I had a minor IBS case. So I adjusted my diet to cut out foods my body doesnt like. I also have been trying to live a bit more healthy and exercise a bit more. I rarely junk out and my healthy food ratio is fairly good only treating myself to the usual chocolate once per week. Maybe more.
I am keen if anyone on this board has actually looked out there diet and saw any improvement with there hair? I am getting lots of forearm hair and beard hair since cutting out the junk food.

But I do have a question about the Nizoral shampoo I brought. I live in the UK so they sell the Mcneil branded Nizoral. When I look in the leaflet inside, one of the sides effects you can get with there branded shampoo is, hair loss. But is that with all Nizoral shampoos?
For the last month, I have been using something called Grow Gorgeous intense. It was an off the shelf store product which I want to experiment without any of the sides. Whats interesting is, I have notice loads of tiny hair near the front of my hair which I dont recall ever seeing before.
There was some initial shedding that happen a few backs but that hasnt happen for some time. But anyone is more then welcome to look at the active ingredients:

So the items I am looking to add to my regime are: S5 Cream plus, RegenePure DR shampoo, Tricomin but should I use the shampoo or the spray? Are these method an effective way to grow hair back?

lamborg, since you brought up your medical history, I hope your physicians recommended probiotics for your IBS. Many doctors, however, are still not aware of the importance of the gut microbiome. And since yours was mild, such treatment would easily be clinically positive. But, I must leave others to comment on the hair products mentioned. Good Luck, Good Health to you.

Thanks for your reply Trichosan. My doctors didnt prescribed me any probiotics back then and suggested to me to buy them off any retail shop years ago. They did give me some medicines at the start but I got really bad cramps and my doctors kept giving me different medicines to help stop it. What has help at the start of last year is taking yogurt with the good bacteria stuff in them which has helped a lot. Plus I have been eating fruits daily like bananas, grapes. Definitely feel more energy in me since last year.
My IBS only goes bad if I overdue it with drinking too much caffeine but since then I stopped having coffee five years ago, it seems to have settled a lot better.

Sounds like you are on the right track. It is best to introduce probiotics in small quantities and gradually. Greek yogurt, kefir are good sources. These gut bugs are responsible for a large part of our immune system. Great too that you get some fiber in form of bananas, grapes, oatmeal, etc. Such things are referred to as prebiotics and provide the scaffolding for the critters to do their job as they pass through the GI system.

Now back to our regularly scheduled hair forum...
