Saw Palmetto - Question..

I am considering Saw Palmetto to help early signs of male pattern baldness..

from the reserach I've done, some say it helps (the same way finasteride does), others say it does not, and in some cases, people say it caused them to shed shed shed.

Can anyone give me some info on SP? It seems like a regular natural supplement much like vit b, d, e etc, so I'm not sure how it could cause shedding..

I just don't want to take it then notice serious shedding.

I have been taking it for over a year now, and I was 16 when I first started taking it. It really does NOTHING for hair loss (imo), but I'm still taking it, otherwise I'll be paranoid that my hair is thinning more because I cut out SP...

It may benifit you slightly, I'm not sure. Just try it and see what happens. And yeh it does cause a shed.
