Saw Palmetto: What to expect

I'm thinking about starting to take Saw Palmetto supplements.

I already take two 1000 mg softgels of Fish Oil a day (One in the morning, one after dinner).

I want to start taking a Saw Palmetto supplement after lunch.

What kind should I get, how many mgs per capsule?

Nature's Bounty has capsules with 450 mg per capsule.

Is that what I should try?

What are the side effects of Saw Palmetto?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It has saw palmetto, but also many other anti estrogen, DHT blockers and anti androgens and anti oxidants in it, tackles hair loss from all different angles.

There is controversy regarding saw palmetto, with some saying it does nothing, and others saying it is useful. Personally i think it helps as a DHT blocker but you need to keep taking it for up 12 months...IMO it won't regrow hair but will help keep what you have, which is why i feel it gets a bad press, as guys are taking it and seeing no improvement after 4 months and dumping it
