What exactly does this do? I've read about it, and it seems the same as finasteride, though probably less strong. It is reported to stop the production of DHT.

It can be applied topically or can be ingested orally supposedly.

My question is: If I took tablets containing SP, or applied SP topically, and then stopped, would any benefit I gained from SP be lost?

I doubt saw palmetto is worth taking. Even if it were cheaper...

Just get GSE, apple poly, the stuff docj077 and I are using.

I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question, but.....

By GSE, do you mean grapefruit seed extract? Also, are you using as an internal or as a topical?
