Scalp Itch On Finasteride Induced Shed?

I am throwing this question out again to find out whether finasteride induced sheds causes scalp itches? i don't think they do, but i don't have enough evidence to support it.

So has anyone experienced a scalp itch during the shedding phase? and did it grow back?

That scalp itch is androgen related, I know, and I’ve battled it for a long time. Your test has probably up regulated and that is cause the itch, if oh get in a topical anti androgen like RU, you’ll lose the itch and respond better to finasteride.

alot of people say there is no correlation between the itch and hair loss, i have found that not to be the case. Are you using nizoral? and how long have you been on finasteride?

I was in finasteride for 7-8 years, it stopped working and I’ve been on duty for 6 months, I just added RU 2 weeks ago and the itch is virtually gone. I use 2% keto shampoo 2 times a week and I dermaroll those days

What about topical finasteride? if finasteride is up regulating things, would topical have the same effect as oral finasteride? i do think i am prone to systematic absorption, unfortunately.

I had a minoxidil compound I was using for a few months that had finasteride in it and it did nothing for the itch, you might want to try cb, el duterino swears by it, you might want to pick his brain and see where his source is my brotha.

Since i have stopped talking Duta the itch has gone. i don't know whether that was a good idea to stop taking it but i used topical spironolactone around that time and it didn't calm down the itch so i started to lose hope that Finasteride and Duta was a good idea. seemed like finasteride and duta was doing more damage than any good.

I get abit of an itch with spectral.dnc.n, but it usually subsides when washed off.
