My hairdresser said intensly massage your head everyday. I talked to my dermatologist about that he said that was a crock of sh*t.

Is there any evidence that massaging your head increases the bloodflow, and therefore grows back hair? Does anyone else do it?

Blood circulation is no longer thought of as a trigger of male pattern baldness. However, there's no harm in massaging any area of the skin. There are actually studies (in babies) that have proven it to be very helpful in other respects.

I get massages frequently and enjoy a good massage. But, I enjoy the sex I have afterwards with the masseuse even more.

You should check out http://www.hairloss-reversible.com. The creator of the site, Tom Hagerty, has an interesting theory and technique to promoting blood circulation.

This, IMHO, is one of the most important things that can be done, along with whatever routine you're using. And it's free. Tom should win an award for discovering the way to use the occipitalis muscles. But it's not easy to learn, and it takes time to see results. I have been doing the excercise for over a year, I'm now off Proscar completely, - and I only use min once a day. And best of all, my face is as tight and muscular as it was when I was in my 30's, and I'm in my 50's now.

Thanks for the link and info.

As for the dermantologist, what would he know? I think it's one of the most important things as well, as the studies have proved bald men have a low scalp circulation. I don't think it will work on it's own, but when you mix it in your regime. I've red several times it's very helpful, up to a point where some claim half an ahoulr a day is enough to reverse the hairloss, though i doubt that's really true.
