Hi !
I wonder if I could get some advice. I am three months into generic minoxidil treatment (Headway brand) and have hit a problem. Until now I have had no itching or any problems, but suddenly my scalp is reacting badly :freaked2: In the last two days it has been tremendously itchy, and has become covered in little bumps, like heat bumps. I had my hair cut back to a number two the other day, as I feel "less bald" when I cut my hair back. Surely that has not contibuted to the problem?
I have had some results on minoxidil and am extremely reluctant to stop, but I know that the irritation is down to it. I live in Malaysia, and can't find the Nirazol shampoo or whatever it is called.
Any suggestions? Will a few days off have an impact on regrowth? Or should I just carry on? Is this normal, after three months of no problems?
I live in the tropics, so sweating is an every day thing. I wonder if I may have been sweating more and had an allergic reaction?
Any advice on a gel or skin product which might help would be great!
Thanks
