Scalp shaving as possible slight growth stimulant

Hi dudes, always wanted to clear this out:

Have anybody considered scalp shaving (with a blade razor, not just trimming) as a slight growth stimulant ? I mean, if face regular shaving results in aggressive hair regrowth (due to the increased blood circulation I believe), why not to try it on the scalp as additional solution ? Though shaving might bring bad irritation and some other skin problems.

No, I think all it will do it make the hair grow back initially slightly faster. - A lot of alopecia/cancer patients do this when it starts to grow back.

But that's no good really. - If you wanted longer hair you wouldn't shave it in the first place. It certainly doesn't thicken the hair.
