The skin should be unnoticeable, just like the skin anywhere else on your body.

f***!!

agreed. some will say that these scalp sensations are not a bad sign, but how the f*** not? healthy, normal skin feels like nothing. INFLAMMATION feels like tingling, crawling, burning, etc... INFLAMMATION is a sign of injury. An injured scalp is never conducive to hair growth. What is causing the inflammation? finasteride, min, or just regular old male pattern baldness?

I use Regenepure, which I ordered online here.

It's excellent, it got rid of my itch the first time after use.

And you can put a liberal (a large) amount in your hair at once. It doesn't strip off oils like
most shampoos do.

Im using a 5% keto shampoo already, I also got other shampoos like Jason dandruff relief. Honestly I doubt shampoos can do that much, they sit on your hair for the duration of the shower. We need permanent action.

Plenty of people say that their itch got better on finasteride, which points at DHT inflammation.

Not only hair falls, but you are reminded every second through tingling and scalp discomfort.

The skin should be unnoticeable, just like the skin anywhere else on your body.

Tell me about it! I feel every bit of your pain... 5+ years of constant scalp itching/burn here and going :( It really feels like a curse, not only are we inflicted by this disease but we have to be reminded of it every waking second. The combination of premature baldness + scalp pain should be listed under ''torture'' in the dictionary, no doubt.

Finasteride cured my scalp burning. It used to get really bad pre-finasteride especially on the side of my hairline where male pattern baldness was more aggressive.

Yeah, when I don't wash my hair with shampoo for 1 day it gets worse, but I can't be using ketoconazole shampoo daily can I?

Also DHT definitely fucks you up inflammation wise, the topical finasteride helps a bit, but not enough, I need 24 hours of fresh scalp, otherwise assume you ARE balding as f***.

I may start adding oral finasteride along with the topical, f*** it, if I get sides i'll off myself or something, but I predict it will do f*** nothing.

Aren't you a girl? what's your balding pattern like?

We are fucked from male pattern baldness, you mostly have some sort of inmune stuff going as well, girls don't have male pattern baldness as far as I know.

Yes, I'm a girl. Women also can suffer from pattern baldness, it's called female pattern baldness and it is similar to male pattern baldness except it usually follows a more diffuse pattern.
My pattern is thin on top except hair line, and thin on the sides. The back is thick.

So use a different shampoo on the days you aren't using keto

baldies treating their hairloss with topicals should in general be washing the scalp every day for better penetration of treatments. We don't have the luxury of genetic fullheads who go days without washing. The whole "natural oils are good for your hair" thing literally doesn't apply to us

They should be able to prescribe a steroid for the itching

Otherwise, you might try Effexor

@infinitepain

I never said Regenepure regrows hair, because it does not.

It gets my hair clean, because I have naturally dry hair, and I only wash it once very three days.

Steroids aren't long term solutions and if you use them regularly you are fucked.

I need to try to some heavy DHT inhibiton for a while to discard it's just DHT inflammation. Tons of people solve it with finasteride/dutasteride.

Yeah I wash daily. If I go a day without wasing my scalp, specially itch, it's hell on earth.
