Scalproller with Acell solution

I am 28yo, diffused NW4A,

I want to try this and see if it works.

Sterilized ScalpRoller dipped in a solution of (Acell powder + saline) and rolled mostly on temple, crown area.

I heard Dr. Hitzig have already tried injecting Acell directly on scalp to halt the loss. with some positive effects, so I thought may be this experiment will give similar effect.

Let me know if anyone already tried? and if I need to be aware about any negative side effect if any..

seriously ? well if i was you i would first check whether the substance you got is the one being used by these doctors... you should try to find out if this is real acell

Second... i would definitely try to know from theese same docs how they are using the ACELL but it is DEFINITELY worth a try and i could bet you would see some results.

But before you try try to figure the best medium from experts but it sounds to me what you suggested is not a bad idea

Many doctors soak hair grafts in this powder mixed with saline before planting on the scalp. And some also just inject Acell solution in scalp directly, or sometime with PRP.

My theory is needle will create a channel and Acell will help quicker growth of new cell inside that channel and somehow it should activate the dead follicles if there is any. just a wild guess.

Have not started this experiment yet, as I am getting Growth Factor injection treatment every month, I am going to start this after this treatment is over in next two months.

How did he possibly get acell, they only sell to dr.s, hospitals, etc but not individuals?

The hair transplant docs, mix this powder with Saline solution and soak the grafts in it.

I'd be willing to try this. I've had prp done and know the procedure I'm also on the medical field and comfortable using this. Any idea what the concentration would be, how much saline with how much acell? It can't be much more to two to four or five ml's of total fluid? Mark let me know...

but acell isnt specific to hair follicles.

how do u know it wont cause skin cells to grow over pores and holes from dermaroller, effectively making the problem worse?

Neither acell or prp or direct stem cells are skin specific. The idea is that they as it heals the wounds the extra cellular matrix that its composed of draws growth factors and stems cells. These are what regenerates the tissue. I understand your question and I have had prp with fabulous results and just thought this may be a cheap alternative with similar results to prp.

got a dermatoligist friend that i spoke with and met with a hair loss specialist in south florida....I got both of their opinions and have all of the necessary equipment and going to try this, just worried about the quality of acell...scalproller is going to be too superficial, will need to inject.

Hi, as I said before, I am going to postpond this experiment till I complete my growth factor injection treatment in next two months. And it is working very well where I have hair, but nothing in the temple area where I will try this.

I am not sure about the saline concentration either, will research more before starting up. also I would not be comfortable injecting it myself.

Btw Dr. Hitzig is already giving such therapy of directly injecting Acell and Acell + PRP showing good results. If acell's injections by specialist Doctor is safe, I don't see any harm in roller + acell causing any problems like pores skins etc... and if such was the case all hair transplant docs would not be using it to soak the grafts.

I'm just trying to figure out the concentration of acell to normal saline. Assuming normal saline is the best mixing vehicle.

Yes, thanks for those links found acell powder 30mg for about $225. I just had prp done and I'm going to wait a bit before trying but will eventually.

Mark, I know its been a while and i realize your not researching this right now but I can't figure out the concentration of normal saline to acell. It comes in 30mg of powder and I'm pretty sure about 3ml of saline wound be sufficient to reconstitute but unsure of how much powder to use....Let me know if you can find this out or figure this out somehow....Really would appreciate it.
