lol the problem with this method would be obviously that, if you do not have hair to begin with, you could not pluck any to get the extra ones..
so, no use for the bald
anyway it's (for) mice

Ha, I was just saying a few weeks ago that plucking might be a more effective way of wounding the follicle than dermarolling. By tearing out hairs you are damaging more of the parts you want to damage. It also forces the hairs into a fresh cycle, possibly speeding up the regeneration effect while on finasteride or dutasteride.

Gonna stick my hair in a blender tomorrow and rip it all out hopefully I'll get some insane regrowth.

Do not pluck your hair, unless you want to get even balder.
The study seems BS from the start, and...on top of that, it's on mice, what a bad joke!
LEt me tell you a small "Secret":
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12734505

So...miniaturised human hairs recovers overnight when grafted to a mouse!!!
This makes all this proposed solutions for hairloss observed on mice, a bad joke and even an intelligence insult.

Yeah, more effective wounding, possibly leading to permanent damage.

I understand the value of the cellular interplay between hair how they influence each other and how that could be useful. I just dont think this has any real immediate usefulness to anyone for curing male pattern baldness. In 2015 the best we got is plucking hairs out?
