The triangle of happiness in life is:

2. Profesisonal life

Maslow's hierarchy for avoiding mental illness (and even secondary induced physical illness) is based on this classic pyramid. Most people in western countries are on level 3-5 naturally and when it is not being fulfilled = decreased motivation and subsequent illness. Once self-actualization and realisation is at play, depression/anxiety is no longer an issue (excluding those with genetic mental/physical conditions). Interesting some people add sex at physiological level (I agree mostly though many monks are at the self realised stage and just fine)
