This is my problem : i am experiencing very low sex drive since starting the protocol. I did some research and find dozens and dozens studies showing aspirin greatly reduces serum testosterone. In fact it reduces testosterone synthesis by leydig cells.

[Generational reproductive outcomes in Wistar rats maternally exposed to Ricinus communis oil at different stages of gestation]
Ricinus communis oil (RCO) has been reported to possess/used as laxative, labor-inducing and estrogenic properties. ...
At postnatal day 90, F1 males from the RCO-treated group showed significant decrease in testis weight, body weight, sperm count, motility and normal morphology. Testosterone levels were significantly decreased in RCO-treated F1 males, which also showed testicular interstitial edema and epididymal hypospermia. Only pubertal indexes were altered in F2 rats. Maternal exposure to RCO at early gestation periods impaired androgen-mediated reproductive end points in the first generation of rats. RCO exhibits endocrine disrupting capabilities.

Oral castor oil is not necessarily safe for your hormones, either. Ironically these so-called prostaglandin modulators end up working via the hormonal angle anyway, which is the very thing we try to avoid.

Even stimulating PGE2 may just be a roundabout way of inducing more aromatase:

It is hard to sidestep the fundamental issue of hormonal imbalance in the hair follicle. With the potential exception of antioxidants I haven't found anything else that works to any reasonable degree without affecting hormones.

I did a lot of researches recently on cox inhibitors

I found all non selective cox inhibitors reduce serum testosterone and sperm count/mobility while selective Cox-2 inhibitors only have a negative effect on sperm count/mobility but do not affect serum testosterone level at all.

By the way, I just happened to find this while searching for Spirulina, a supplement I take occasionally. It's hard to make a topical out of, but it does seem to be what you're looking for:

Since starting my aspirin and oral castor oil protocol, i noticed a complete halt of my shedding in less than a month, NOTHING I TRIED IN THE PAST COULD DO THAT. This is the first time in 5 years my shedding stopped. That's why I am a big believer in Cox-2/Pgd2 pathway causing male pattern baldness

You can see my experiment on this protocol here : https://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/threads/oral-castor-oil-and-oral-aspirin-combo.129039/

Therefore i am looking for an alternative. And i think this alternative is a Cox-2 inhibitor. It's very surprising nobody tried selective Cox-2 inhibitors for hair loss in the past . A lot of people tried non selective cox inhibitors (cox1 and cox2) like diclofenac, indomethacin or ibuprofen, without results. Here is why:

1-We know from studies Cox-2 is overexpressed in the scalp of balding and bald men. We also know pgd2 is produced from cox2 and cause hair miniaturization.

2-These studies shows Cox-1 is the main Cox expressed in the dermal papilla , while Cox-2 is normally very little expressed, but we know that in balding men scalp, Cox-2 is very overexpressed. The study also shows that minoxidil benefits on hair from pge1 and pge2 come from upregulation of cox1.

So basically, in the scalp :

Cox 1 = Good = don't touch it
Cox 2 = Bad = destroy it

This is my theory : we need to reduce cox2 without reducing cox1. That's why people who tried non selective cox inhibitors alone (without pge2 analogs or cox1 upregulators like minoxidil) didn't get results.

I think topical cox2 inhibitor like celecoxib or etoricoxib should be very beneficial

What do you think?
Hi man , since you have dupa like me , i want to know if aspirin is really working against dupa ? Is it worth to try ?

Congrat! How do you prepare topical solution? How often do you apply it?

i found diff to explain this, if the reduce in testo and lh is significant.
