It's my first post so apologies if I don't use the right terminology etc. Hope you all are having a good day.
Basically I noticed my hair was thinning slightly and receding quite a bit so I went and bought Regaine foam after spending numerous days researching the product. I started using it at night an hour before going sleep as advised. However after two weeks of using it once a day I couldn't deal with the shedding (I know, I'm weak) but I was loading LOADS of hair. I know this is normal but I stopped using the treatment.
Now its almost been a month since I stopped but the place where I used regaine has become so much worse. It has become a completely different texture to the rest of my hair (it is flat) and I can see my scalp now when I never used to be able to. Also, my hair has become so dry and lifeless and when I run my hand through my hair or have a shower or sleep loads of hair comes off (its so bad that if I softly pull a random hair on my head 8/10 times that hair would come off.) It also seems it is growing wide apart now instead of growing together (that is a really bad explanation but can't think of a way of wording it better at the moment.) I have stopped styling my hair as I am no way using a brush when my hair is in this state. I am extremely worried that it wont go back to the state it once was.
I have added before and after pictures, I hope you can see what I mean.
