Sex Sides After 3 DAYS of PROPECIA??

After going to a Hair Transplant clinic I met a lot of guys on Propecia who said they had no side effects what so ever. I come on here and its like 80% have had sexual sides.

So I started taking one quarter Proscar three days ago. For the first time in I don't know how long, I woke up without morning wood. I also have been less horny then a 26 year old male usually is. I ALWAYS have a rock hard morning wood, always. Is this coincidence or is Merck just completely BSing the 1% thing? Also, is it possible my body will level out in a few weeks and go back to normal? This forum is filled with guys having sexual sides, is there anyone NOT having them?

It ain't in your head, its the finasteride. I'm trying to counter my sides with andractim to see if I can cheat and win.

Yes, that was recorded in the trials. If that doesn't happen, you will have to either put up with a reduced libido, consider an aromatase inhibitor (a little bit risky) or give up the medication and accept hair loss - there are alternative regimens, but they tend to be much more complex and less effective.

update: got a morning wood this morning, but it wasn't a good one.

I may cut the dose in half and continue in the hopes that my body will get used to the new drug and adjust itself back to normalness in a week or two. Good idea?

You have to realize that people don't usually hang out here just for kicks... it's usually because what they've tried didn't work, gave them sides, etc... so they're looking for more info.

I doubt people in the world at large get sides as much as they people in this board, but I REALLY bet the percentage is higher than 2%.

It's hard to say without surveying a representative sample. There was a recent study of older men on Proscar that concluded that sexual side effects are not particularly notable.

My libido seems quite good today. Maybe my body is starting to get used to this new drug. I'm also very alert and very back to normal ACCEPT for the watery semen. I mean its very watery. I'm chipping a bit off the 1.25 mg pill so its probably more like a .7ish mg pill.

Pondle thanks for the article. If they can handle 5mgs I should be able to handle 1. And I wonder if the psychological assumption that the pill is affecting my libido is part of the issue, and possibley part of the issue with many men on this forum. I tried to really relax today and not think of it and my sexual juices were flowing quite normally.
